Install temporary setup files copying problem

Hi there,
I'm trying to install the 64-bit version of the beta. I boot from the DVD fine, and the installation's first steps goes without any issues. Then, when it gets to the stage of copying the files, before it actually gets to begin copying, I get an error saying it couldn't find any local drive which to copy the temporary setup files (sorry, i can't remember the exact message, but it was basically saying that) and thus, the whole process just stops.
Does
anyone have any idea what's up with that? Here's my setup:
AMD64 3200+ w/ ASUS mb 512Mb RAM 100Gb WD Hard Disk partitioned as followed: - 25Gb Partition with WinXP Pro (32bit) installed - ~65Gb "Share" Partition in which I put all my stuff (music, videos, docs, etc) - 18Gb Unallocated space (at first) in which I intend to install Windows Vista Beta2. Pioneer DVD-RW 4x
I hope i provided enough info, and thanks in advance for your efforts in trying to resolve my case.

Did you format the unallocated space as an NTFS partition? -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I did, within the installation process I selected the unallocated space and clicked 'New' which formatted the space into a new NTFS partition (by the way, this newly-created partition is unreadable for PartitionMagic, but Windows XP seems to see it all fine (creates a new 'E' drive)).
Anyway, I wouldn't have been able to click the 'Next' button if I hadn't created that partition.
Thanks anyway.. but for some reason it's something else ;)
